Bukhman Philanthropies announces new partnerships to strengthen children’s mental health and wellbeing in schools across the UK.

During Children’s Mental Health Week, Bukhman Philanthropies is announcing two new national partnerships with the Schools Wellbeing Partnership and the Anti-Bullying Alliance, investing £725,000 over three years to strengthen how schools across the UK support children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

Both organisations are based at the National Children’s Bureau and work at scale to support schools through evidence-informed, preventative, whole-school approaches. Together, these partnerships will help schools move beyond fragmented and reactive responses towards more consistent, sustainable practice that supports wellbeing, inclusion, and safety for all children.

Through the Schools Wellbeing Partnership, funding will support national training, peer learning, practical guidance, and collaboration across education, health, and the voluntary sector, reaching hundreds of schools and educators each year.

Through the Anti-Bullying Alliance, funding will support evidence-led anti-bullying training, national campaigns such as Anti-Bullying Week, youth leadership through the Young Anti-Bullying Alliance, and the development of new tools to help schools prevent bullying and respond effectively when it occurs.

Daria Bukhman, co-founder of Bukhman Philanthropies, said: “Supporting children’s mental health means strengthening the systems around them. Through these partnerships, we’re backing national organisations that connect evidence, practice, and lived experience, helping schools move from short-term responses to sustainable, preventative approaches that support all children to thrive.”

Together, these partnerships reflect Bukhman Philanthropies’ commitment to strengthening the systems around children, helping schools embed wellbeing and inclusion as core priorities rather than short-term initiatives.
