Bukhman Philanthropies and Co-Impact announce new £1 million global partnership

July 13, 2026

The partnership will provide long-term, multi-year funding to locally rooted organisations working to improve early childhood outcomes at scale across multiple countries.

Bukhman Philanthropies has committed £1 million to Co-Impact as part of a three-year partnership, marking one of its first grants outside the US and UK. This partnership aims to strengthen the health, education and economic systems that shape the lives of young children and build solid foundations for their lifelong health, learning and wellbeing. With this grant, Co-Impact will fund locally rooted organisations working to ensure that children can not only access vital early childhood development opportunities but also benefit from nurturing, responsive environments that enable them, their families and their communities to thrive.

Founded by Daria Bukhman and her husband Dmitri, Bukhman Philanthropies has assembled a diverse portfolio of partnerships since it began in 2025. This work with Co-Impact reflects Bukhman Philanthropies' broader commitment to driving change for children and young people, whether by funding research or partnering with organisations that strengthen and improve youth mental health, wellbeing and outcomes.

Daria Bukhman, Chair of Bukhman Philanthropies, said:

"Support during early childhood is critical to transforming children's development and lifelong outcomes, particularly for those facing the greatest disadvantage. Early childhood development is an area of deep personal interest for me, and I look forward to partnering with Co-Impact and learning from their local partners as they drive lasting change at scale. A major reason for pursuing this partnership was that Co-Impact's pooled, flexible approach reflects my own belief that we can achieve so much more together than we can alone."

Olivia Leland, Founder and CEO of Co-Impact, said:

"We are so excited to be partnering with Daria Bukhman and Bukhman Philanthropies. We share the same values and desire to strengthen the critical health, education and economic systems that shape the lives of children, their families and their communities. We're honoured that Daria has chosen Co-Impact as her first grant outside the US and UK, and we look forward to working together to back local leaders with proven solutions that are delivering lasting change at scale."
