Annual Report 2025

Learn about the Bukhman Philanthropies 2025 Annual Report, including a letter from our Chair, an overview of what we accomplished in the past year, and our priorities looking ahead to 2026.

What's inside?

2025 marked an important year for Bukhman Philanthropies as we began building a focused philanthropic portfolio centred on health, wellbeing, and the cultural foundations that support a thriving society.

Our 2025 Annual Report sets out the priorities guiding our giving, the partnerships we have formed, and the work we have supported across three focus areas: neonatal health; mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults; and literature. It reflects a year (April 2025-2026) of purposeful activity, learning, and relationship-building, and offers insight into how we approach philanthropy and how our strategy is taking shape.

Highlights

  • 35 organisations supported across the portfolio
  • £19.2 million donated
  • £49.7 million committed across five years
  • £43.2 million allocated to research across neonatal health and children’s mental health
  • 7 Level 3 NICUs supported across London
  • 4 universities receiving research grants
  • 3 literature prizes supported

“Through our pilot grants and partnerships, we have addressed critical and often overlooked challenges in neonatal health, children’s mental health and wellbeing, and literature - areas that are essential to nurturing a healthy new generation able to thrive in a fast-changing world.”
